Container gardens create a welcoming display for visitors of human (and animal), variety

Recently a veterinary clinic in Northgate asked us to help revamp their entryway.  With animals coming in and out all day every day, the plants on the beds at their entrance didn’t stand a chance.  Their solution was to level out the beds, and have us design and install six large container gardens that were set in a bed of river rock.  What a difference!!

For the container gardens we started with three wonderful anchor specimens:  Cistus, Spiraea, and Phormium.  Flowering perennials of Salvia and Eryngium added character and color, and trailing verbena and Lysimachia added even more pop.  The result was a display resembling a lush cottage garden, to welcome visitors of all shapes and sizes!
